Directional Tactile Indicators

Guiding visually impaired people when obstacles are approaching such as stairways, escalators, ramps and kerbs

Tactile indicators are designed to provide assistance for visually impaired pedestrians. Their colour and raised profile patterns are specifically designed to provide vision impaired pedestrians with warning of approaching hazards such as stairways, escalators, ramps and kerbs.

This tactile indicator is a directional tile comprising a series of ridge patterns.

The tiles are supplied in 300mm x 300mm square tiles, and are available in a variety of colours. All tiles comply with Australian standard AS1428.4-2002, have been tested and comply with slip resistance ratings and are UV stabilised.

All tactile markers are currently exempt from GST

Installation:
 

No need for mixing messy epoxy resins. The tiles are supplied as standard with an aggressive, peel and stick adhesive backing for easy installation on a variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces. Alternatively the tiles can be supplied without the adhesive backing.
